About the Artist

My jewelry career began in my basement as a teenager.  I taught myself how to make jewelry from books, and one class in High School before ever receiving any formal training in metal smithing.  After high school graduation I attended Penland School of Crafts.  I went on to continue my education at Maine College of Art for two years, and completed my degree at Slippery Rock University.  I have had the privilege of studying under many well known artists and metal smiths.   I have a B.F.A and graduated summa cum laude with a concentration in Metalsmithing from Slippery Rock University.
